Body Piercing: Our Generations Fashion Mistake?

We came across an article comparing body piercing, particularly lip & tongue rings to previous generations bell bottoms & go-go boots & calling it our generations fashion mistake. The article goes on to tell the dangers of piercings near the mouth ranging from infections to broken teeth. The bottom line is that if you are educated about your piercings, select the right jewelry and take care of fresh piercings you are not very likely to have a lot of these problems. Unfortunately the journalists who write these articles don’t seem to know much about piercing and just condone it based on what they think. Heres the article:
